 My passion is people, and creating meaningful work experiences by helping organizations build HR infrastructure and strategies that result in fun, inspiring and collaborative business solutions aligned with organizational values

Years ago, I saw a need in the small company I was working for at the time.  With absolutely zero Human Resources experience, my boss allowed me to take on the HR responsibilities.  I fell in love. And I never turned back.

I love HR.

But why??

People crack me up. They are a never-ending source of entertainment. (Seriously, have you ever just people-watched? Pure gold.)

And the reality is: Work can suck. People can suck. But I choose to focus on the more bright side of life. I live in each moment and soak up all its goodness.  I am extremely service-oriented, and community focused.  I want to create a work experience where people feel valued for the work they do and the unique talents they contribute; individually, to their teams and the organization they work for.  A large part of my calling is to be a source of positivity in the lives of others.  People spend an enormous amount of time at work, sacrificing other areas of their lives (significant others, children, hobbies, other interests). My goal is to make their sacrifice worth it by creating a work experience that is meaningful, fun, happy and worth returning to again and again.  

On the personal side, I'm (usually) happily married to my best-est buddy. We have two wonderfully hilarious children, and a rescue-lab named Wesley. We laugh a lot.
